As a certified trainer, Frank specializes in positive reinforcement techniques that promote learning and foster a joyful environment for both dogs and their handlers. He believes that every dog has the potential to succeed, and he tailors his approach to meet the unique needs of each canine companion.
Frank is also a competitor in IGP Dog Sport with his two Giant Schnauzers, Charli and Bruno. His experience in the competitive arena not only enhances his training skills but also allows him to share valuable insights with clients who aspire to achieve their own goals.
When he’s not working with dogs, Frank enjoys exploring the outdoors with Charli and Bruno, embracing the adventures that come with being a dog owner. Nicholas Gulisano
Nick, is a passionate dog trainer at Blackbeard K9, specializing in a positive-first approach to canine education. With a firm belief that every dog has the potential to learn and thrive, Nick focuses on creating a fun and encouraging environment where both dogs and their owners feel empowered.

Alyssa Petrillo
Alyssa is a dedicated dog trainer at Blackbeard K9, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in training working line German Shorthair Pointers for hunting and competition. Growing up with Dobermans, her lifelong passion for dogs has shaped her expertise and deep understanding of canine behavior.
In addition to her extensive training background, Alyssa has spent over a decade as a professional groomer, honing her skills in dog care and maintenance. This unique combination of grooming and training allows her to provide a holistic approach to canine development.
Alyssa is also a competitor in IGP Dog Sport with her Malinois, Gino, and her Doberman, Rhea. Her hands-on experience in competition adds a valuable perspective to her training methods, focusing on building drive, focus, and a strong bond between dog and handler.
